Foot Petals, LLC, officially announces its "Killer Shoes" Advertising campaign. This heart stopping ad campaign is currently featured, in Los Angeles on a billboard. A bit controversial, but the shocking photography will showcase the many "shoe crimes" that are Committed.
The series of photographs are titled "Shoe-icide is Not the Answer".
- The first image is a pair of feet wearing red pumps hanging in a noose it states "Shoe-icide is Not the Answer ...revive that love/hate relationship your sexy shoes".
- The second is a woman's legs on asphalt with a chalk outline stating "slouchy sling backs are murder on your feet".
- The third image is a woman standing on a ledge of a building looks as if she is getting ready to jump off it states "Shoe-icide is Not the Answer ..revive that love/hate relationship your sexy shoes".
- The fourth features long toes hanging over the edge of high heels & handcuffed stating "don't get caught with ugly overhang".
All images imply her pumps are so painful, that she can't take it anymore.
The campaign was created by President and Founder, Tina Aldatz Norris, to compete with the many companies that have recently launched similar product designs as Foot Petals. Competitors have been known to copy everything from the signature fuchsia flower trademark, to using similar advertising styles and colors.
"Foot Petals has made a conscious decision to always be one step ahead of its competition, pun intended, and launch an advertising campaign that sets them apart from the many copy cats out there."
A statement from Foot Petals...
"The Foot Petals 'Killer Shoes' advertising campaign was intended to play on the term 'shoe crimes.' It's derived from the common statement, 'These shoes are killing me;' it is not meant to promote suicide. Foot Petals prides itself on being a socially conscious company. I personally would like to extend my apologies to all who have been offended by our 'shoe-icide campaign.' We are well aware of the sensitivity of the issue. In light of the public concern for the billboard, moving forward, a portion of all Foot Petals proceeds will benefit suicide prevention."
Tina Aldatz-Norris - President
